[VCI-100 & VCM-100 control assign with TRAKTOR 3 LE]
Hardware & software controls are assigned to TRAKTOR 3 LE which is included with the VCI-100. Functions are preset to enable users to play with the hardware and software straight out of the box. These settings cannot be changed and controllers excluding the VCI-100 and VCM-100 will not work with the software.｡
LOOP control with TRAKTOR 3 full version and VCI-100 is set as Browser and Preview function in TRAKTOR 3 LE.
MAC OS X 10.5 Leopard Compatibility
To operate TRAKTOR 3 LE (ver.3.2) on MAC OS 10.5 Leopard, please download the Leopard installer patch from Native Instrument Inc.’s website. This installer patch is to be used when installing TRAKTOR 3 LE to the Leopard OS.
Please follow the instructions below.
- Download the Leopard Installer Patch from NI website.

- Copy TRAKTOR 3 LE (for Mac) installer and the NI Service Center installer in the VCI bundle disc to your desktop.
- Open and activate the MacOS X 10.5 Leopard Installer Patch. Double click the TRAKTOR 3 LE installer.
- Enter the password used when the OS was installed, and the installation for TRAKTOR 3 LE and NI SERVICE CENTER will begin.
- Once installation is completed, activate TRAKTOR 3 LE to confirm operation.

Symptoms:
VCI-100 identified by the computer as USB device
but not identified by TRAKTOR and TRAKTOR 3.2.
Outline
Reports say that the VCI-100 was identified with TRAKTOR after un-installing drivers and software sold under the trademark of Logitech WEB camera (QuickCam , Qcam).
A system file titled "lvubsta.sys" is created inside the driver file folder of USB audio device when the subject software and drivers are installed. It seems that this file blocks the USB MIDI controllers from being identified by the software.
This system file cannot be deleted or un-installed singularly, and the system may possibly become unstable if done so. DO NOT perform this procedure.
If you wish to un-install the software and drivers at your own risk, we recommend un-installing it from the "Add or Remove program" tool.

We have 4 reports of the VCI-100 not being identified by TRAKTOR 3 and TRAKTOR LE when in use of NEC VALUE STAR, SONY VAIO or computers with YAMAHA AC-XG Audio device. The OS does identify the VCI-100.
