What's a TKS File?
TKS files contain information to assign operation parameters of the TRAKTOR software to each function of the external MIDI controllers. (ex. Fader A controls sound level of deck A) There are various external MIDI controllers available and each controller requires its own TKS file to work with the software. Simply the TKS file guides you so that the MIDI controller is compatible with the software you use. (Other software use different file names)

  • TKS File for TRAKTOR 3LE

The VCI-100 and VCM-100 comes with TRAKTOR 3 LE, a feature limited version of the TRAKTOR 3.2 full version. The TKS file for the VCI-100 and VCM-100 MIDI map is included in the bundled install disc. This TKS file cannot be edited or replaced with other TKS files.

  • TKS Files for TRAKTOR 3.2 & 3.3 full version

You can edit and load your original TKS files if using TRAKTOR 3.2 and 3.3 full versions. If you are upgrading from TRAKTOR 3.2 or TRAKTOR 3 LE to TRAKTOR 3.3, or already using TRAKTOR 3.3, download the TKS file above for your VCI-100 / VCM-100 and load it in the MIDI SETUP menu.
